January

Prune roses, fruit trees, berries and grapes. Apply tribasic copper sulfate or lime sulfur for peach leaf curl.

February

Start seeds inside for spring and summer planting. Fertilize lawns later this month and apply pre-emergent control for crab grass in the lawn.
